This page explains how Painterner Limited (“we”, “us”) handles personal information when you use OrbiPic, our image-to-orbit studio.

Private projects. Your uploads and results are not published in a public gallery by this app.
Saved for remix. Your source image and settings stay with your project until you delete it.
Hosted payments. Card details are entered on Stripe Checkout.
Information we handle
- Account information: your email address, display name, account identifier, sign-in verification and session records. If Google sign-in is offered and you choose it, we receive the account details needed to sign you in.
- Creative content: uploaded images, optional image prompts, generation settings such as output size, generated videos and previews. Saved original files can contain embedded metadata; remove information you do not want to share before uploading.
- Activity and billing: job identifiers, stages, timestamps, error details, credit balances, purchases and adjustments. Stripe provides payment confirmation and transaction information so we can deliver credits and handle payment queries.
- Technical and support information: browser and device details, network information such as IP addresses processed by our hosting providers, operational logs, and information you send when contacting us.
Why we use it
We use this information to sign you in, run your requested generations, save and load projects, provide downloads, process purchases, maintain credit balances, resolve failures, prevent abuse and respond to support requests. We also retain records needed to meet legal obligations and resolve disputes.
An account and source image are needed to generate an orbit; an image prompt is optional. You can explore samples without an account. Our generation workflow uses images to produce your requested output, not to train or fine-tune models. We do not sell your uploaded images or prompts or use them for targeted advertising.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information to provide the service you request, for our legitimate interests in operating and securing it, to comply with legal obligations, or with your consent where required. Only upload content you are entitled to share, including any necessary permission from people shown in it.
Service providers and access
- Cloudflare hosts the application, database and file storage and supports delivery of sign-in emails. It processes the content and technical information needed to provide those services. Cloudflare privacy policy.
- MaiHub and Modal handle image generation. Images, prompts and settings are sent through our configured MaiHub service to the model deployment on Modal; generated results return through this workflow. Modal privacy policy.
- Stripe processes one-time credit purchases. We send account and purchase details to create Checkout. Payment details are submitted directly to Stripe; our application does not store full card numbers or security codes. Stripe also processes information for payment security and its own purposes described in its privacy policy.
- Google, if used for sign-in, handles the authentication you request under its privacy policy.
Projects are accessible through your account in this application. Authorized operators and service providers may access information to operate the service, investigate issues or protect it. We may disclose information when legally required or necessary to protect rights and address fraud or abuse. Downloads you share elsewhere are subject to the recipient’s practices.
Retention and deletion
Saved projects retain the original image, prompt, settings and results so you can return and remix them. They do not automatically disappear when a generation finishes. In My orbits, you can delete completed or failed projects. This removes the project from your history and starts cleanup of its saved source image and video files in this application. Separate remixes have their own copies and must be deleted separately.
History deletion does not delete your account, payment records or records held by upstream generation services. Background cleanup and backup removal may take additional time. Limited transaction, security and deletion records may remain for accounting, dispute handling, fraud prevention and legal obligations. Provider retention can differ from the retention of projects in this application. Contact us for an account-wide or upstream-data deletion request.
Your choices and requests
You can view saved projects, download available outputs and delete eligible projects in My orbits. Contact us to request access to, correction of, a copy of, or deletion of your personal information. Depending on the law that applies to you, you may also have rights to object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent for processing based on consent, and complain to your local data protection authority. Withdrawing consent does not affect prior lawful processing.
We may need to verify that a request concerns your account. Some information may need to be retained to meet legal obligations or resolve a dispute. Please do not send passwords, sign-in codes or full card details with a request.
Security and international processing
We use HTTPS, account-based access controls and server-side credential handling to protect information. No service can guarantee absolute security. Our operator is Painterner Limited, based in Hong Kong. Hosting, generation and payment providers may process information in other countries, where data protection rules can differ. Contact us for information about the processing relevant to your account.
The studio is not directed at children. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission, contact us so we can investigate and address it.

We may update this policy as the service changes. The date above identifies the current version; we will provide additional notice of material changes where required. Our Generation terms describe permitted use and model licensing.
